Alinka will be a featured artist in Baoababs , an exhibition curated by Adriana Teresa, co-founder of FotoVisura and Visura Media. Baobabs also features Cuban photographers René Peña

Alinka was recently nominated as a candidate for the Joop Swart Masterclass in Amsterdam. The Joop Swart Masterclass has been organized by World Press Photo every year since 1994 and has established itself as one of the most prestigious events of its kind. Its goal is to bring together some of the most experienced individuals in photojournalism with 12 young, promising photographers so that they can share and pass on their knowledge and experience. The first decade of the masterclass has shown that its participants are destined to be part of the top of photojournalism.

This coming June, Alinka will be a featured artist at LOOKbetween. This event, organized by the LOOK3 Festival of the Photograph brings together and showcases 100 of the most innovative and progressive emerging photographers working today.

Alinka was awarded Second Place in the Editor’s choice awards by Kathy Ryan (Picture Editor, The New York Times Magazine) and Scott Thode ( Editor-in-chief, VII Magazine). The Winners Exhibition will open in September at Center.
